The Human Rights Committee, established under article 28 of the International
Covenant on Civil and Political Rights,
Meeting on 22 July 2015,
Having concluded its consideration of communication No. 2143/2012, submitted to
the Human Rights Committee under the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on
Civil and Political Rights,
Having taken into account all written information made available to it by the authors
of the communication and the State party,
Adopts the following:
Views under article 5 (4) of the Optional Protocol

The authors of the communication are Sakiba Dovadžija and Dalisa Dovadžija,
nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, born on 27 January 1962 and 31 March 1992
respectively. They submit the communication on their own behalf and on behalf of
Salih Dovadžija, their husband and father, a national of Bosnia and Herzegovina, born on
10 June 1964. They allege that Mr. Dovadžija was forcibly disappeared in 1992 and that his
fate and whereabouts have remained unknown since then. The authors claim a violation by
