Havingconcluded its consideration ofcomplaint No. 613/2014, submitted to the
Committee against Torture by F.B.under article 22 of the Convention against Torture and
Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment,
Having taken into account all information made available to it by the complainant,
his counsel and the State party,
Adopts the following:
Decision under article 22, paragraph 7, of the Convention against
Torture
1.1
The complainant is F.B., a Guinea national, bom on 28 December 1987, who is
currently living in the Netherlands. She claims that her deportation to Guinea by the State
party would constitute a violation of her rights under article 30f the Convention against
Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. She is
represented by counsel.
1.2
On 18 June 2014, pursuant to rule 114, paragraph 1, of its rules of procedure, the
Committee, acting through its Rapporteur on new complaints and interim measures,
requested the State· party to refrain from retutning .the complainant to Guinea while her
complaint was being considered by the Committee. On 10 July 2014, the Immigration and
Naturalisation Service·(IND) informed the complainant that it would refrain from removing
her in accordance with the Committee's request.
