The author of the communication is N.L., a national of Iraq, born in 1961. Her
application for asylum has been rejected by the State party. She claims that her deportation
to Iraq would constitute a violation of her rights by the State party under articles 6, 10, 12
and 15 of the Convention. The Optional Protocol entered into force for the State party on 14
January 2009. The author is represented by counsel.
