About the author Eleanor Gordon is a Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at Monash University, Deputy Director of the Masters in International Development Practice and sits on the Monash Gender, Peace and Security Steering Committee. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Centre for Security Governance and Associate Editor of Stability: International Journal of Security and Development. Eleanor has spent 20 years working on conflict-related security and justice issues, including ten years in management and advisory roles with the United Nations and other international organizations in conflict-affected environments. Her research and practice focus on inclusive approaches to building security and justice after conflict.
