On the eve of the UN Day for the Victims of Torture a high-level panel will discuss the core challenges to enforce the absolute prohibition of torture and how an effective access to remedy can be ensured for the victims of torture.
The event is organised in cooperation with the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT), the Research Platform "Human Rights in the European Context" and the Austrian League of Human Rights.
