She is submitting the complaint on behalf of her husband, Abdul Rahman Alhaj Ali, a Syrian national born on 15 March 1977, who is currently being detained in the civilian prison in Salé, Rabat, Morocco, awaiting extradition to Saudi Arabia. The complainant alleges that her husband’s extradition by Morocco to Saudi Arabia would be in violation of the State party’s obligations under article 3 of the Convention.
