- Description
The animated video provides insights into the experiences of persons with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities deprived of liberty during the COVID-19 pandemic (March 2020 - February 2021). It explains why the pandemic has had an immense effect on them and offers recommendations on how to improve their situation.
This video was produced in the framework of the project “Open research behind closed doors: Assessing the impact of Covid-19 measures on persons with psychosocial and intellectual disabilities deprived of liberty” that was carried out by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights in cooperation with partners from Austria (SiM), Italy (Associazione Antigone) and Germany (Strafvollzugsarchiv).
