Risk of torture upon deportation to Afghanistan
At its meeting on 3 May 2019, the Committee, having been informed that since the
expulsion order against the complainant had become time-barred, and that he could now
submit a new asylum application in Sweden, decided to discontinue the consideration of
communication No. 825/2017 on the understanding that the complainant would be entitled
to submit a new communication to the Committee in the event of a renewed risk of forcible
removal from the State party’s territory.
