Substantive issue:
Risk of torture in the event of return to the
Republic of Moldova
Having been informed by the State party that on 1 May 2018 the complainant had
obtained a residence permit in Switzerland following his marriage to a German national and
that he was consequently no longer at risk of being returned to the Republic of Moldova,
the Committee, meeting on 15 November 2018, found that communication No. 584/2014
had become moot and decided to discontinue consideration of the communication.
